    1. Very true Dora, such enthusiasm towards the Lord GOD JESUS CHRIST and fellow believers is a sign of the HOLY SPIRIT’s presence. Reflecting on these verses (yesterday), one can noticed the impact of the HOLY SPIRIT’s presence in the faith of the believers, yes to the point of (in a world’s perspective/world view) risking all their assets and future for their new found belief. Yet, they were more than willing to surrender their possessions and belongings for GOD’s purpose i.e. distributing to those in need; such faith! Such community and church fellowship! We can only aspire for this idyllic body of faith these days (it might even be a taboo for others) but learning from it, in the same manner, we can surrender all our anxieties, stresses in life, depression, burdens on one hand and successes on the other to GOD, in His Lordship. Blessings to you and your family! My apologies for the late response.

      1. What a faith-strengthening, Spirit-exalting, Christ-glorifying, God-magnifying response, Kent, and I thank God for it! May we walk by such faith today, every day, to the glory of God. 🙏

        1. Amen, Dora! All in GOD’s mercy and grace to have a faith like that. We are all grateful to GOD for giving us a faith that we can nurture in His constant presence, guidance, and even intercession.

    1. Very true Gary! When we do trust and love GOD, be truly confident in His abundant grace, and believe in life eternal as far better than here on earth on one hand and truly love our neighbor on the other, then we can make this possible in a community of believers with the same level of faith. That is GOD’s gift! We are grateful to GOD for His mercy and grace that still leads us to Him. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. A Church filled with the HOLY SPIRIT with an astounding level of faith. Its members, most likely, have surrendered and trusted JESUS CHRIST so much to have that kind of reception/action and community/group think. That is an idyllic church community these days, with these worldy baggages. Still, we are grateful to GOD the FATHER for renewing/showing us the way to walk by faith following JESUS CHRIST in our church community. Blessings to you and your family, Jim!

    1. Very true, Alan! That ideal church is one of a kind. The power and presence of the HOLY SPIRIT in tandem with strong faith/trust in the sovereignty/control of GOD and His abundant grace (whether received on earth or in Heaven). Even the size of its membership is not a hurdle for the members’ actions. They were just embolden through their love of GOD and neighbor. You are definitely right, prayer is a very good approach. We pray to GOD to embolden all of us to that kind of fellowship in JESUS CHRIST’s name. Blessings to you and your family!

  1. Amen! God’s people in these early days of the newfound church in their the body of Christ exhibit discipline that today’s Christians can learn from. Thanks Kent for blessing us with these verses.

    1. Very true, Richard! That is something we can learn from and also trust in GOD. That level of faith is somewhat extraordinary these days. But with the mindset of focusing on following JESUS CHRIST and with the guidance/presence of the HOLY SPIRIT, it is possible to exhibit. The key is trusting JESUS CHRIST and surrendering everything to Him. These early church members, most likely, have let go of their financial anxiety/stress and unload their burden by sharing their resources to their fellow believers in one community. We too can start throwing our burdens/anxieties/depression to GOD in His control knowing how gracious He is. Blessings to you and your family!
