Very true, Donna! With that example that Paul gave to his compatriots, it is something we all should not even dream to tread. Yet, even with Paul’s compatriots, GOD preserved remnants to this day until His coming. A blessed day ahead to you and your family!
Very true and sobering indeed, Jim! Looking into both OT and NT, it is all in GOD’s Sovereign control and plan that His saving grace be expanded to us “Gentiles.” It is not a zero sum game because there are remnants. And it is so great to be included even if we are not direct decendants of Jacob; giving us a chance to feel His presence in our lives among so many things He did and still do. Blessings to you and your family!
True: “ It is not a zero sum game because there are remnants”. Yet there’s in some mystery the economy of salvation God bringing us Gentiles into the fold to be saved. Not that we are worthy to be saved…it’s all by grace! Blessings to you Kent!!
Very true, we are not worthy nor deserve GOD’s mercy as there is no difference in the volume and gravity of sin between those whom He is merciful and otherwise; it is His pure prerogative. Aside from humbly accepting this Truth, it is great news that there is the possibility that we can received it than totally be excluded.
This should give us an idea of what could happen when the Gentiles quit listening.
