Thank you for pointing it out Dora! Indeed, with GOD helping us, everything is possible according to His plan and will. GOD moves mountains and even strengthens our faith. With GOD in the helm, Paul was able to make those Epistles, had 4 missions with several “speaking engagements” or evangelization, adventures, and surviving the mob, tortures, and imprisonments, all in the service to the source of his energy/intellect/stamina/drive/patience. Blessings to you and your family!
Praise God! “Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Heb. 13:20-21)
True! Paul, being a Jewish scholar, points to the passover LAMB i.e. JESUS CHRIST–GOD the SON–who took away the sins of the world, was risen, seated at the right side of GOD the FATHER. Paul emphasized the risen Messiah in a mostly Jewish crowd, reminding them that JESUS is the CHRIST. We, gentiles, have repentance because what our Lord GOD and Savior did on the cross. Blessings to you in your sermon preparation and your family as well! Btw, nice post on Gotham by Gaslight; you really did make a review after a suggestion and a good one too! Surprising take on Jim Gordon’s character indeed and you should watch the DCAU version of the story.
Certainly, as Paul, our help comes from God. We have no excuse not to proclaim the good news of the prophets fulfilled in the good news of Jesus Christ.
Have a blessed weekend.
True, Donna! No excuse at all. When we have faith in JESUS CHRIST as our Lord GOD and Savior and we know the Truth that all things work for the good for those who loved GOD (Romans 8:28), we have a purpose and an Almighty GOD with us in our mission to proclaim the goodness of the Triune GOD, on what GOD has done for our Salvation, and never out of our goodness. With GOD, who will be with us in our sharing of His unmerited grace, we have the source who will inspire us on what to say or do all throughout. Blessings to you and your family!
The “secret” behind the great apostle’s bold ministry: “To this day I have had the help that comes from God.” Have a blessed weekend, Kent!
