Although logically the change of direction comes first followed by the evidence of that direction (e.g. going to the gas station as seen as getting nearer to the place). Sometimes these can be seen as like symbiotic creatures/plants; slowly as you repent, your Godly deeds resurfaced/emerged and the more you follow JESUS CHRIST, the more resolved you are on that course. THIS is so true, as we grow from day to day in our faith. We can learn wisdom and understanding from our beloved GOD and the message HE gives so lovingly in HIS words.
The examples there in the Bible that people have done be it right in GODs eyes or not let us know what was the outcome of the direction that the people back then came to.
Repentance comes from faith , accepting JESUS as our savior, and understanding of the word/laws of GOD. Then thereby doing them as we lean on JESUS.
.Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
It is not easy to be good, but it is easy to be bad. For to be good is to have control and discernment with JESUS leading. To be bad is not to let JESUS lead and ne out of control. Right?
