There is nothing that prevents us from knowing GOD and come to know Him. GOD, in His sovereign will and plan, provides the means for the Good News to reach everyone. And the person, whom He calls, will accept it. Blessings to you and your family!
When we surrender everything to the Lordship of JESUS CHRIST and are resolved to follow and served Him as our Savior, defending GOD is just a task like breathing oxygen. That was Paul’s state I believed. Blessings to you and your family!
A deeper understanding with GOD sometimes leads to one’s peers and friends find it weird and even crazy. Where most of one’s friends are fine with just attending church and taking the eucharist; and excess to that is weird already.
This chapter in Acts casts Paul as someone quite different from his past. With the Lord’s encouragement, Paul uses his persuasive tools for divine work.
The power of the Triune GOD as He renewed Paul, changing his heart for His purpose. Paul, who was educated with the Law and the Prophets, was also able to use this for “divine work.” Blessings to you and your family!
One thing I like about Paul is, he was never taking any political side and not carrying the political baggage in his time but focused solely on the Gospel by proclaiming and defending JESUS. He was not ashamed of what he does, and served for the sole glory of GOD and not the advancement of any political force/thought, regardless of where in the political spectrum (nor any human). Taste the Lord not only lead us to see He is good but to follow Him in ways that others think is radical but it’s like breathing air for believers!
