What a verse of confidence in God! Not confidence in our ability but in Almighty God in whom we have believed and follow. May we never be shaken by the world as we cling to Him.
GOD willing, Alan, may we never be shaken. May we be resolute to rely/trust solely on our GOD on His help, faithfulness, and grace and not be swayed on what comes along the way or the gravity of our situation; knowing that He is always there for us. Based on the commentary of the MacArthur Study Bible, JESUS CHRIST has “demonstrated His determination on facing what lies ahead when He went to Jerusalem to be crucified.” Blessings to you and your family!
True Crissy, Alan is right, that we should rely/cling to GOD and not relying in our own ability. That line also reminds us of another important verse to trust in GOD will all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. And also good to combine with the succeeding verse that in all our ways, we should acknowledge GOD and He will make straight our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Blessings to you, your family, and ministry team!

Thanks for sharing this; I suspect this is a Messianic prophecy; if Mandy comments and have input, I want to read it. Thanks for sharing!

Actually, I’m not sure if they have something like Facebook or Twitter here to “summon” someone, Jim but we will try. Paging @Blue Collar Theologian.
